• The PEAC Program has launched its new Facebook Fan Site! Visit the PEAC Program webpage and follow the link to join us on our Facebook Fan Site.

• NorthStar is proud to announce new additions to the NorthStar Our Community Partners page! NorthStar has just signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding' with Wear for Success to foster closer links for the benefit of our most disadvantaged clients. • The first  'Industry Placements Program' will commence on 29th May at the East Reservoir Neighborhood House. This is a 5 week program with a mix of work experience and pre-employment training in a supported group environment. This is a joint program run by PRACE and NorthStar and is one of the many ways our partnership contributes to community development. If you are interested in participating in this program, please contact your nearest NorthStar office.

Special Events:

• Schizophrenia Awareness Week 2012 (14th to 20th May) is an annual event held in May. It provides opportunity to raise community awareness of schizophrenia and mental illness in general. Visit the Schizophrenia Fellowship website for more information about activities and events here.
