NorthStar Specialist Employment Services is a free service for eligible clients with a disability, permanent injury or health condition and who wish to obtain employment in the open labour market.

NorthStar has highly skilled and experienced Employment Consultants that work 1 on 1 with jobseekers to provide tailored assistance and support to help you find the right job suited to your needs. Once you get a job, our Job Support Case Worker Team can work with you and your employer to ensure your job is successful and sustainable.

One of the key strengths of our service is our skilled staff who come from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of qualifications and experience. Our team not only have expertise in employment but also bring specialities and experience to their work, including education, training, health, youth and disability. We are a dedicated staff committed to achieving social and economic inclusion within our community, working hard to empower our clients towards independence and self determination through meaningful employment.

NorthStar is a TTE program provider funded by the Department of Human Services (DHS). Our unique TTE program is called PEAC (Preparation for Employment and Access to Community) which supports young people with a disability who are not quite ready for work to develop work readiness skills and build capacity to independently participate in their community.

PEAC is located at NorthStar Head Office in Epping. However most activities are conducted off site in the local community.
